Price: 19,990 EUR (fixed) Body Type: Cabrio Condition: Used Gearbox: Semi-automatic Doors: Two or three Fuel: Petrol Color: Beige Now is your chance to buy a really old classic. This is one of about 5,000 Daimler Consort models produced, and this particular car is from 1951. It was sold new in Sweden and has had only three owners, with the last owner since 2013. Only five cars of this model are registered in Sweden, and just two have this engine. The Daimler DB18, later revised to become the Daimler Consort in 1949, was produced from 1939 until 1953. It features a 2½-litre engine, a development of the earlier 2.2-litre New Fifteen introduced in 1937. The model was available as a six-cylinder chassis with various bodies, including drop-head coupes, built by Daimler and British coach builders. Introduced just before World War II, the model was primarily known as the Daimler 2½-litre until Daimler adopted the North American naming convention. An all-steel export version, branded as the Daimler Consort, was introduced in October 1948 at the London Motor Show. Updates included an integrated firewall, hydraulic brakes, headlights incorporated into the front guards, and a curved radiator grille.
