1951 Daimler DB18 Special sport

Daimler DB18 Drophead Barker Special Sports (1951) – 2. 5 Litre Convertible Coupe

A beautifully presented example of the elegant Daimler DB18 Barker Special Sports. This car exudes charm and character, benefitting from a comprehensive restoration earlier in its life (though the documentation for this work is limited). The bodywork remains in excellent condition with no visible rust, and the car presents with a refined, dignified appearance throughout.

During my ownership it has been carefully stored, lightly used, and well‑maintained, ensuring it remains in fine mechanical and cosmetic order. It now deserves to be enjoyed by its next custodian.

The pre‑selector gearbox operates smoothly, and the engine has recently been serviced, running with the quiet confidence and reliability expected of a Daimler of this era.

A delightful classic, ready to be driven, shown, and appreciated.
