1930 Austin 7 Box Saloon

This wonderful little Austin 7 was first registered on the 16th August 1930 and has been subject of a wonderful restoration back in the mid 1990’s. The Seven was rebuilt by R Yates Vintage and Classic Restorations and has had very careful ownership since. In 2011 the Austin won first prize at the National Austin Seven Rally with the 750 motor club and all these years on since restoration still looks absolutely beautiful with a lovely paint finish and excellent bodywork.

The body was clearly rebuilt to an impressive standard and the interior trim is delightful throughout. The engine was rebuilt with a Pheonix crank and performs superbly, the gearbox is a delight to use and the Austin handles very well indeed. This quintessential British Saloon car is ideal for shows, rallies, weekend jaunts and of course an ideal collector's piece. Kept in first class condition since its 1990's restoration, the Austin featured in the December issue of Classic Cars Magazine and all these years on looks exactly the same.

We are big fans of the Austin Seven, we average around two a year and always find them a delight to own. They don't ever seem to take long to sell, and in this condition, we don't expect this one to be here for long.
