An instantly recognisable British classic, the Morris Minor remains one of the most enduringly popular post-war motor cars. Combining charming styling with simple mechanicals and excellent parts availability, the model enjoys a loyal following amongst collectors and enthusiasts alike.

Finished in black over a claret interior, with white headlining and exterior accents, this example presents as a highly original and remarkably untouched survivor. Having been within dry storage since the 1970s, the car is believed to retain its original mileage, although this cannot be warranted. The vehicle was acquired new by the vendor's aunt and remained in her ownership until it was placed into garage storage, where it has remained ever since without turning a wheel.

Offered as a restoration project and an increasingly rare opportunity to acquire a long-term, one-family-owned Morris Minor, the car is sold with a blue and white V5 and a vehicle license form. Accompanying the vehicle is a quantity of period documentation, including service records from Castrol and Shell garages, together with the original service booklet, containing a recorded service entry from 1962. Further paperwork includes a pair of tax discs, one of which is believed to represent the vehicle's final period of road use in 1974. Prospective purchasers should note that the registration number does not currently appear on the online DVLA database.
