Newly delivered in the Netherlands in 1980. Rare Van version. Over time fitted with a 1300 engine . The Mini is a small car, produced in the original version as Austin Seven and Morris Mini Minor between 1959 and 1970. In 1970, the Mini brand wasïntroduced and the two earlier models were referred to only as "Mini. Confusingly, both of these models were referred to as 'Mini' from 1962, as with Austin Mini and Morris Mini Minor. It was a revolutionary and characterful small car designed for the British Motor Corporation (BMC) by Alec Issigonis (1906-1988) and made in Birmingham. This car featured new advanced technologies for the time, such as a transverse engine and front-wheel drive, a concept widely used today. The Mini was available with engines of 850, 1000 and 1100 and 1275 cc. In addition to the two-door base model, the Mini appeared as an estate/van (Mini Van) and pickup (Mini Countryman) with longer wheelbase.
