1965 Porsche 911 2.0 Classic

Porsche 911 2. 0 1965 FIA-homologated, GTS class 11.

Delivered on 14 December 1965 to Autogerma in Bologna (Italy). Porsche authenticity certificate + KARDEX: Engine No. 903333, Type 901/ 01 (SOLEX carburettors); Gearbox No. 226003, Type 902/ 1 (5-speed).

The car was bought in November 2007 from Mr Ricardo BERNARD (Porsche importer for Finland – OY Auto Carrera AB – Helsinki).

Sold new through Autogerma in Bologna, it has since been fully restored and prepared for historic events by a Dutch collector, Mr K Van Der Woude.

The bodywork was entrusted to REUST Coachworks in Switzerland (1994) and the mechanicals to the German preparer IRMGARDTS; the engine develops 190 hp paired with a close-ratio gearbox.

The Dutch owner completed his first Tour Auto in 5th place in 1999. The car also contested a number of rounds of the Porsche Classic Car Trophy in 2002 (Hockenheim, Spa, Oschersleben, Most, Nürburgring).

The car was subsequently sold in 2004 to the official Porsche importer in Finland (Ricardo BERNARD), who had the car upgraded by DUEL in the Netherlands to FIA specifications (100 L ATL safety tank, HEIGO adjustable roll cage, RECARO bucket seats, racing exhaust, Stack rev counter, tripmaster and HALDA speed pilot...).

It is among the early short-wheelbase models, one of the most popular types among historic rally drivers.

Its current owner uses it in various regularity events such as the Costa Brava Rally and the Costa Daurada Legend Rally.

Eligible for numerous historic competitions, its future owner will be able to enjoy it in events such as the 2. 0L Cup, Le Mans Classic, the 6 Hours of Spa, or the Tour Auto.
