1969 Porsche 911 Classic 2.0

This beautiful 1969 911T was purchased by me in 2018 and registered in Ireland with all EU taxes paid.

A stunning example of an F body 1969 Porsche 911T was purchased by the last seller as a project in 2014 and relocated to Florida. It then received a 3-year refurbishment that included a bare-metal repaint in the original colour, a new interior with houndstooth seat inserts and S trim, and a refreshed suspension system.

The matching-numbers 2. 0-liter flat-six was also rebuilt and is mated to a 901 5-speed manual transaxle.

The set of 14″ Fuchs includes a full-size spare, and a tool kit also comes with the car.

This 911T is now being offered with receipts from the refurbishment, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, and an Irish/ EU registration

The glass was removed and the body was disassembled before a bare metal repaint was carried out in the original Polo Red (6802). The single stage process used PPG solid enamel products.

H4 headlights have been fitted with new chrome rings up front, and the rubber seals have been replaced throughout the entire car. All five of the 14″ Fuchs are said to wear matching date stamps and are fitted with as new Vredestein Sprint Classic tires.

The cabin was refurbished by Tony Garcia of Autobahn Interiors with new black leather upholstery and houndstooth inserts on the front seats. A wooden-rimmed Nardi steering wheel is currently installed, though the original VDM item is also included. Red and black Coco mats protect the new carpets underneath.

VDO gauges were rebuilt by North Hollywood Speedometer, and a Becker Europa II AM/ FM stereo has replaced the original Blaupunkt Frankfurt unit. The 5-digit odometer indicates 38k miles and is believed to have rolled once.

The 2. 0-liter flat-six is paired with a Type 901 5-speed manual transaxle. A split-case engine rebuild was performed by Bruce Ellsworth of Klub Sport Racing in West Palm Beach, Florida, including new pistons and cylinders, main and rod bearings, custom heads by Axtel, TEC balanced crank, new intermediate shaft and chains, oil-fed chain tensioners, and refurbished Weber carburettors. The engine was assembled with new cadmium-plated hardware.

Stamping * 6195325* is pictured above and matches the Porsche CoA, confirming the engine as original.

A new clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing were installed, and the fuel tank, fuel pump, and fuel lines were replaced. The car is also equipped with CDI ignition, SSI heater boxes, and a new muffler.

The steering rack was rebuilt, and the suspension was renewed with fresh struts, A-arms, and torsion bars.

The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity confirms the build date, serial numbers, original colours, and optional equipment. Receipts and invoices from the rebuild process are also included along with the original Fuchs spare wheel , VDM steering wheel, and a newer tool kit.
