1960 Daimler SP250 (Dart)

1960 A series Daimler Dart which was extensively restored by the previous owner who owned the car for 46 years.

It underwent a full body off restoration during which the chassis was galvanised and the body was repainted in black cherry.

In 2023 the engine was fully rebuilt by Daimler specialist Robert Grinter who also fitted an overdrive gearbox and rack and pinion steering. A Coolex aluminium radiator and Revotec fan have also been fitted. The car benefits from an alternator, servo assisted brakes and has painted wire wheels with Vedestein tyres.

The car drives very well having completed 2000 miles since the engine rebuild.

The paintwork does have a number of imperfections and some microblistering when looked at closely.

The car has a full set of manuals and extensive history including a green log book, Heritage certificate and photographs of the full restoration. It also has full and half tonneau covers.
