1965 PEUGEOT 404 Coupé

Hello,

I am selling my Peugeot 404 Coupé with carburettor.

Engine completely rebuilt by Peugeot (Sochaux)

Gearbox completely rebuilt by Peugeot (Sochaux)

Rear axle fully stripped down and restored by Peugeot (Sochaux), bronze crown wheel replaced.

The engine was completely rebuilt 400 km ago, so a cylinder head retorque will be needed at 1, 500 km.

The bodywork was restored 20 years ago and shows signs of wear such as the chrome trim.

I am selling with over 6, 000 euros worth of spare parts (my parts stock).

Sale to an enthusiast preferred. No distance sales.

Before the work mentioned above, the vehicle took part in Montlhéry's 100th anniversary and in numerous outings including the 24 Hours of Le Mans (non-competitive). You may have seen it in the specialist press.
