1964 Triumph TR4 Restomod with Original Surrey Hardtop and foldaway soft top

I’ve owned this car for 10 years

Under the bonnet is a Vauxhall Z20 LER Turbocharged engine producing 220 BHP, 260 lbft Torque, and Ford Type 9 5-Speed gearbox

OMEX engine management system

Bodywork and chassis is all in great rust free condition

Chrome work is mostly good, both bumpers could do with a re-chrome, but they are not rusty

Under the bonnet is all pretty tidy

The interior is all complete and has a nice patina

The steel hardtop can be easily removed for sunny days, and the foldaway convenience top is stored in the boot in case the weather changes

Well maintained car, can be driven away will total confidence

The car looks completely standard but has the Performance of a modern day hot hatch.

The car is super reliable. It will cruise at +70 mph easily with the 5 speed gearbox, and can confidently be used for 200+ mile trips

The To Do List:

The car would benefit from some bigger brakes to match the increase in engine performance, but the car does stop, and has been driven perfectly safely for many years with the current standard braking system. There are plenty of brake upgrade kits available

It would also benefit from a rear telescopic damper conversion and some uprated front dampers, again the car drives fine as it is, and damper kits are easily available for those who prefer a sporty suspension feel
