1960 MGA Mk1 Roadster 1600 – A unique classic!

An authentic vintage open car in good condition (largely original), with a wonderful history and enormous potential. This 1960 MGA Mk1 Roadster has had only two owners over more than 60 years.

In 1992, the car was purchased in the United States from its first owner, then imported to Germany. When the owner relocated to Belgium for work in 1998, the MG came along. Today, due to a further move back to Germany and lack of storage space, he reluctantly must part with it after 34 years.

The MGA is in original condition with a lovely patina. Laid up for a few years, it has recently been recommissioned and is ready to drive. Drive it as is, or restore and refine it at your own pace!

• Engine starts and runs perfectly (serviced in the past), benefits from excellent oil pressure and compression, and is equipped with electronic ignition without contact breaker.

• Brakes as they should (new rear shoes, front disc brakes) and fitted with a durable stainless steel exhaust.

• Equipped with chrome-spoked wheels. The bodywork shows a few minor surface rust spots. New metalwork has been welded to the rear of the sills.

• Original interior showing signs of wear. All electrical systems function correctly!

• The mohair hood is original and in perfect condition. Also includes a mohair tonneau cover as well as the original sliding side windows.

• Chassis in excellent condition, sound and solid.

• Very smart appearance with this rally look, engine sump protected by an undertray.

• The original stainless steel luggage rack has since been refitted to the boot.
