1969 Rover P5B Coupe left hand drive

This 1969 Rover P5B Coupe has recently been resprayed in Admiralty Blue. The floor mats have been replaced and the brown leather interior has been refurbished.

This Rover drives, brakes and steers beautifully, with all the mechanicals already overhauled or replaced.

The Borgwarner 3-speed automatic shifts smoothly. The original hydraulic power steering has been replaced with a ZF Type unit from a classic Volvo, which offers more direct steering and no longer leaks.

The dynamo and ignition have been modified.

The exhaust is stainless steel, which won't rust through.

The front bumper has been replaced with a new stainless steel item. Fortunately, this Rover still has the stainless steel trim strips which are often missing.

The underside and chassis tubes have been protected with a Dinitrol treatment.

What's important to know: this P5B Coupe is fitted with an LPG tank in the original location of the petrol tank, behind the rear seat. For emergencies, a small petrol tank has been fitted on the left rear. The original tank is included and can be refitted if desired. This lovely Rover has been partially restored and maintained and is being sold by Rover specialist Berry Smink from Hooglanderveen, Netherlands.

The Rover P5B Coupe is painted in Admiralty Blue, which is also the original colour for this Rover. The mechanicals have been modified, overhauled and renewed at many points.
