1969 Rover P5B Unique Left Hand Drive

For sale: beautiful and highly original 1969 Rover P5B Coupé 3. 5 V8, original LHD.

Delivered new in Milan and one of only 402 built. Luxury specification with vinyl roof and air conditioning.

The Rover was dry-stored for over 20 years and has recently been recommissioned. Work includes rebuilt carburettors and brakes, new fuel pump and lines, ignition parts, water pump, cooling hoses, four new tyres, rebuilt alternator and a full service.

The V8 starts immediately, runs smoothly and does not smoke.

Approximately 95% of the paintwork is still original. Most importantly, the body is completely rust-free and has never been welded, including the usual weak areas and all original jacking points.

It still requires some cosmetic work, mainly interior and rubber seals, making this an exceptionally solid and original basis for further improvement.

Restored examples sell for around €40, 000–€50, 000.
