1967 MGB GT Sebring-Style – Ivory White – Wire Wheels

Offered for sale is this very attractive 1967 MGB GT, finished in Ivory White with a purposeful Sebring-style, bumperless racing look, complete with wire wheels, competition-style roundels and a painted silver centre stripe.

This is a car that has clearly had substantial money spent in the right areas. The engine has been completely gone through and the car starts first time, runs smoothly and drives extremely well. The suspension has also benefited from significant expenditure, helping give the car a planted and enjoyable feel on the road.

Inside, the cabin is neat and tidy, although not perfect, and features new black vinyl seats with a contrasting red interior. The wood-rim steering wheel, manual gearbox and simple dashboard give the car a very period sporting feel.

Externally, the car has plenty of character. The Sebring-inspired bumperless finish, wire wheels and racing decals suit the MGB GT shape extremely well. The paintwork is not perfect, and there are areas around some of the roundels and stickers where the finish has been rubbed or marked. The car will undergo a full polish, and the stripe detailing will also be tidied, with the existing silver centre stripe retained and two accent stripes added on either side.

There is no evident rust in the sills, and overall the car presents as a very clean and usable classic.

The MGB GT was introduced in the mid-1960s as the fixed-roof version of the hugely successful MGB roadster. With its elegant fastback body, practical hatchback layout and lively 1. 8-litre engine, it quickly became one of Britain’s most popular sporting classics. By 1967, the MGB GT had established itself as a stylish, practical and genuinely enjoyable sports car.

Current Condition

With regards to the current condition, we would like to disclose that while the car is not perfect, mechanically it is sorted and in good order. There is certainly plenty of room to improve both the interior and the paint condition, depending on how far the next owner wishes to take it.

We would always recommend viewing the car in person, or alternatively please request a walk-around video if you have any questions or would like a closer look at its condition before purchase.

Overall, this is a very usable, distinctive and great-running 1967 MGB GT with plenty of character and a strong period competition look.
