1964 ROVER P5 3.0 Litre Saloon

For sale: Rover P5 3. 0-litre, August 1964 model—one of the great British prestige saloons of the 1960s. The P5 was the top-of-the-range Rover and was widely used as an official vehicle, prized for its comfort, build quality and understated elegance.

This example is finished in black with a red leather interior and red carpets—a rare and very stylish combination.

The car is complete and original, fully assembled, with no missing or broken parts, making it an excellent basis for restoration.

The bodywork shows no signs of corrosion and the vehicle has been kept in a garage. The paint and chromework will need to be fully redone—this has been taken into account in the price.

The interior is in good original condition: seats with no rips, carpets only lightly worn, and complete wood trim, requiring just some cosmetic restoration.

Fitted with the 3. 0-litre straight-six engine mated to a manual gearbox—an in-demand specification. The vehicle hasn’t yet been put back on the road, but it was running before it was laid up around two years ago.
