1951 MG TD

1951 MG TD acquired in California in 2017.

This example benefited from a complete restoration a few years before its acquisition and presents itself today in excellent condition and working order. The photographs, including the underside, testify to the particularly sound state of the car. The wooden structure of the bodywork is in remarkable condition.

The car is equipped with air deflectors, an aluminium rocker cover, five Michelin tyres, a stainless steel exhaust and its tonneau cover.

It has recently undergone major mechanical work aimed at permanently eliminating engine oil leaks, a well-known weakness of MG T-Type models. This work also made it possible to check and restore several essential engine components.

This MG TD is matching numbers and retains its original Almond Green colour. Light, comfortable and fitted with a smooth engine, it offers all the driving pleasure characteristic of British roadsters from the 1950s. The last outing in June totalled 400 kms.
