MG produced the Twin Cam for only two years. Twin overhead camshafts, Dunlop disc brakes on all four wheels, Dunlop steel wheels with centre-lock fixings — the same as those on Jaguar race cars. On a production car in 1958, this is a genuine sports car specification sheet, and it's what still sets a Twin Cam apart from all other MGAs today.

The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate attests to its configuration as it left the factory: built in Abingdon-on-Thames between 2 and 11 September 1958, dispatched on 17 September 1958, export version, left-hand drive. This document accompanies the car.
