In the early 30s, Lagonda built a few 4. 5 Litre prototypes. Our car with the registration APJ 367 was, according to the automobile historian Bernd Holthusen, the only of those cars with a T6 coachwork.

The Lagonda was presumably supplied new to the racing driver Lord de Clifford. It was later registered by the Metropolitan Police of London. In 1958, the car was found in America, where it had 4 individual owners.

The current, German, owner bought the car back in 1979 from Coys of Kensington.

In the following years, he repainted the car in black and revised the engine very extensively.

The owner used the car also for grand tours. In 1985, he successfully participated in the Rallye Philpa on Corfu. He travelled there on own wheels. In 2013, he drove the Lagonda to the Lago Maggiore.

The car was continuously maintained, in the last years it got a new, improved, clutch from LMB, the petrol tank and the carburettors were revised.

In den frühen 30er Jahren baute Lagonda einige 4. 5 Liter Vorserienfahrzeuge. Unser Fahrzeug mit der Registrierung APJ 367 war laut des Automobilhistorikers Bernd Holthusen, das einzige davon mit einer T6 Karosserie.

Der Lagonda wurde wahrscheinlich neu an den Rennfahrer Lord de Clifford ausgeliefert. Später war er auf die Metropolitan Police in London zugelassen. 1958 tauchte der Wagen in Amerika auf, wo er bis 1979 bei vier verschieden Besitzern blieb.

Der aktuelle, deutsche, Besitzer erwarb das Auto bereits 1979 bei Coys of Kensigton.

In den folgenden Jahren wurde der Wagen unter anderem neu in schwarz lackiert und eine umfangreiche Motorrevision wurde durchgeführt.

Der Besitzer nutze den Wagen auch für größere Reisen. 1985 nahm er an der Rallye Philpa auf Korfu teil. Die Anreise erfolgte per Achse. 2013 fuhr er mit dem Lagonda an den Lago Maggiore.

Es wurden ständig Wartungsarbeiten vorgenommen, zuletzt bekam er eine neue, verstärkte Kupplung von LMB, der Tank sowie die Vergaser wurden überholt.
