This ‘Blue Star’ was exclusive to the German market and only 500 were produced. They have a very attractive specification, starting with the exterior color: all Blue Star models come in the brilliant Tahiti Blue color. The interior features genuine blue leather upholstery with gray piping, with the front seat backs featuring embossed Mini Cooper logos’f.The Blue Star came standard with several distinctive factory options, including a dashboard and door moldings made of elm wood, a wooden Raid‘13D’steering wheel, a wooden gear knob and handbrake handle, a wooden Raid‘13D’13D’steering wheel, two extra-steering wheel, two additional grille-mounted amplifiers, a heated rear window, magnolia-colored gauges, expandable rear side windows, heating and ventilation controls, a Blaupunkt Lübeck cassette deck, a chrome grille, adjustable headlight adjustment and silver trim lines with ‘Blue Star’inscription.In addition, –fun fact – it was the first Mini to feature wider fender extensions and the iconic13-inch Minilite alloy wheels. Nice detail is that these rims still have the first Pirelli P7F tires.This Mini was first registered in Germany in August 1996 and comes from long-term storage, with only two private owners since new. The car has reportedly spent its entire life in the same underground parking garage of an office, which contributes to its exceptional condition.Some cosmetic modifications include the driver's door, left front fender and part of the hood, which were once repainted due to damage when exiting the garage.
