The Maserati Ghibli offered here, chassis AM115*, was delivered new to Rome on 4 March 1968. It is a highly desirable early-series example and a fully matching-numbers and matching-colours car, originally finished in the rare and elegant factory colour “Oro Longchamps” with a white leather interior. The vehicle is currently undergoing a no-compromise bare-metal, nut-and-bolt frame-off restoration at Scuderia Azzurra, with the objective of achieving a fully authentic concours-level standard.
