The Chevrolet Corvette C3 holds a special place in Corvette history. In 1978, Chevrolet celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Corvette with the introduction of the Silver Anniversary Edition. This model was distinguished by its unique two-tone silver paint scheme, exclusive to this edition. It was also the first year the Corvette featured a glass fastback rear window, giving the car a more modern look and improved practicality. While production numbers were relatively high, truly original and unmodified examples like this one are becoming increasingly rare.

This particular Corvette has recently been imported from California and still retains its authentic character. The car remains largely in its original paint, with factory details such as original bonding seams still visible—something highly appreciated by collectors. After a professional polish, the paint has regained a deep shine while preserving its originality.

The interior is completely original and in remarkably well-preserved condition, perfectly matching the car’s overall authenticity. Under the hood, the matching numbers engine starts effortlessly and runs smooth and strong, just as it should. On the road, the car drives, brakes, and shifts properly, offering a very enjoyable driving experience.

The underside is equally honest and original. The frame is solid and free of rust, with only light surface patina consistent with its age. The floor pans are clean and solid, confirming the car has not been compromised.

This Corvette is equipped with desirable features such as power steering, power brakes with disc brakes all around, power windows, and air conditioning. The air conditioning system is present but will require inspection as it is currently not blowing cold.

Overall, this is a genuine and original Anniversary Edition Corvette—an honest car that proudly shows its history and will appeal to enthusiasts who value authenticity.
