1931 SALMSON S4

Salmson S4 from 1931. After the sale, we’re parting ways with this magnificent car—one with the kind of mechanical work needed to get it back on the road, and a reputation that doesn’t need building up. It’s powered by a double overhead camshaft setup—an innovation for its time.

The car is in very nice condition, lovingly cared for by our forebears, who’ve since passed. It comes with the registration document (carte grise) and period documentation. Built to order, in a unique unit, it’s a four-seat, two-door car, with doors that open and close like a Rolls-Royce—much less heavy. A beautiful piece of craftsmanship for the era.
