1939 Morris 8 Series E Tourer

Regrettably, the time has come to put our lovely 1939 Series E Tourer up for sale.

She has been a member of our family for 24 years, having been restored in circa 1998. The previous owner to us was also local.

The Series E Tourer had a production run of 6 months only in 1939.

Do not expect concours, but she is in lovely usable condition. The seats and door cards are believed to be original and she wears a complete set of proper hub caps.

The hood and side screens are in great condition, these were on the car when we got it and still look like new.

Still on original 6 volt electrics; I only use her in summer months to go to the weekly car gathering at a local pub when the sun is shining.

She was recommissioned in 2023 where the complete brake system was overhauled and all perishables and fluids replaced by our local classic car specialist. A complete new exhaust was also fitted which was supplied via the Morris Register, this being one of their first new reproduction stainless steel systems which they had made for Series E.

Please feel free to get in touch with genuine enquiries.

Many thanks
