For sale is an absolute jewel of American pre-war automotive history: A stunning 1936 Cadillac LaSalle Series 50 Coupé, powered by a smooth-running straight-eight engine.

History & Condition

I personally imported this vehicle from the USA 6 years ago. While still in the States, the car underwent a highly extensive frame-off restoration and repaint – the bodywork and paint quality speak for themselves. To perfectly protect this pristine condition, the car received a complete professional detailing and a premium ceramic coating just last year.

After arriving in Germany, the coupé was perfected with meticulous attention to detail and no expense spared:

Interior: The entire interior was completely reupholstered from the ground up here in Germany, using the authentic, original fabric. An absolute dream for any enthusiast.

Technical Upgrade: The only non-original modification is a retrofitted electric fuel pump. This provides modern reliability and prevents the typical starting issues after longer periods of sitting.

Comfort Extra: A period-correct heater was installed for comfortable driving on cooler days.

Maintenance & Current Status

Under my ownership, the LaSalle has been serviced and maintained exclusively by a specialized classic car workshop. There is absolutely no maintenance backlog.

Fresh Service: A comprehensive service was performed just this past June, during which all oils and fluids were changed.

New Inspection (TÜV): The German main inspection (TÜV) was passed once again in June. The car, of course, comes with German registration and historic ("H") license plates.
