1938 Cadillac Series 60

1938 right hand drive Cadillac series 60 special also known as Fleetwood Special

Cadillac chief designer designed it for 38 it became the most sort after sedan in the 30s in America it was a big change for Cadillac it came with chrome window surrounds open window vents front an back twin side mounts first Cadillac with no running boards built on a 3 inch lower frame for better handling.

In 1938 you could not buy a RHD Cadillac from Canada, the gentleman walked in to Lend Rum and Hartman London and ordered a 60 special in r h drive from the Detroit factory in the US special build 33 per cent extra cost the car was delivered in August 38 to a mansion in Essex stayed in the family for 82 years.

It has only covered 34 k miles, it just sat untouched for years , runs and drives unbelievable powerful all original black paint and still has original Bedford cord trim and carpet no play in the steering no wear on pedal rubbers.

It really wants to be put in a collection or museum.
