This 1955 Ford Thunderbird represents the beginning of Ford's legendary personal luxury sports car era. The classic Thunderbird cockpit retains the charm of the 1950s while offering comfortable cruising.

Power comes from the 4.8L (292ci) V8 engine producing approximately 192–198 horsepower, paired with Ford's smooth Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission. Factory-style brakes, an original-style six-volt electrical system, and a generator maintain the authentic driving experience of this early Thunderbird.

This Thunderbird also includes the correct spare tire and wheel mounted in the original spare holder, along with the original jack. Combining iconic styling, V8 power, and classic Ford craftsmanship, this 1955 Thunderbird is an excellent example of one of America's most collectible convertibles.
