This 1960 Maserati 3500 GT, with coachwork by Touring, is a highly original example that has been in the same ownership for over 40 years. It has been stored patiently, awaiting a straightforward restoration. The car is black with a red leather interior. Its original engine is disassembled and included with the sale. Currently, it has a non-matching numbers motor installed and is not running.

The car is straight and honest, never restored, offering the opportunity for the new owner to be the first to restore it. It is a desirable early production carbureted example and a stunning Italian GT with timeless Touring styling. The vehicle can easily be turned into a driver or restored to your personal specifications. It has significant potential and is well worth the effort to revive.

The Maserati 3500 GT was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 1957 and produced through 1964. The goal was to create a fast GT that was exciting to drive, comfortable, and practical for daily use. Built in Milan using Touring's Superleggera light-alloy process, the car successfully achieved these aims.
