1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible

This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible represents the pinnacle of the legendary C2 "Mid-Year" Corvettes. Powered by its matching numbers L36 427ci V8 producing 390 horsepower, paired with a 4-speed manual transmission, this beautifully restored example combines exhilarating performance with timeless styling. Finished in red with a white Stinger hood, white convertible soft top, and saddle interior, this Corvette is an exceptional collector-quality example.

The 1967 model year marked the final chapter of the iconic C2 Corvette before the arrival of the radically redesigned C3 in 1968. Many enthusiasts consider the 1967 Corvette to be the finest expression of the Mid-Year Corvette, thanks to its refined styling, improved engineering, and powerful big-block engine options. This example showcases those legendary attributes while benefiting from an extensive mechanical restoration completed in 2024 by Chris Jr. at Classic Cars of Sarasota.

The striking red exterior is accented by the signature white Stinger hood, white convertible top, factory rally wheels wrapped in red line tires, side exhaust, and a chrome luggage rack that perfectly complements its timeless appearance. The paint presents beautifully, while the bright chrome and trim complete this iconic American sports car.

Inside, the saddle interior offers a warm and inviting contrast to the vibrant exterior. New carpet was installed during the restoration, and Vintage Air climate control provides modern comfort without sacrificing the car's classic appearance. Every detail reflects the quality of the restoration and careful attention to originality.

Under the hood is the matching numbers 427ci L36 V8, factory rated at 390 horsepower, mated to a desirable 4-speed manual transmission. Power steering and four-wheel power disc brakes provide confident handling and stopping performance. During the 2024 restoration, the frame was powder coated, driveline components were professionally rebuilt, and new suspension bushings, fuel lines, brake lines, and numerous additional components were replaced, resulting in a Corvette that performs as beautifully as it looks.

Whether destined for shows, weekend cruises, or an elite Corvette collection, this beautifully restored 1967 Corvette delivers everything enthusiasts seek in a Mid-Year big-block. Combining matching numbers originality, desirable factory options, and an extensive restoration, this is a rare opportunity to own one of Chevrolet's greatest automotive achievements.
