Under the hood is a 360 CID V8 engine paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. This setup provides smooth and confident cruising power with plenty of classic American V8 character. The 360 V8 was factory rated at 175 net horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque. The transmission was rebuilt in 2023.

The exterior presents a sharp black-on-black appearance with copper accents on the grille and headlamp bezels, chrome bumpers and trim, body-side scuff moldings, dual side mirrors, and Oleg Cassini badging on the front fenders. Service documentation from Jerry Dixon Automotive and Klassic Kar Center notes a 110-point inspection, front brake service, rear brake service with rear wheel cylinder replacement, replacement of both front rubber brake hoses, system bleed, and resurfaced drums and rotors.

Additional documented service work includes a carburetor rebuild, fuel filter replacement, new battery cables, coolant hose replacement, motor mount replacement, pinion seal replacement, differential service and gasket replacement, transmission service with filter and pan gasket replacement, transmission output shaft seal replacement, wiring repair at the solenoid, exhaust donut gasket replacement, valve cover gasket replacement, thermostat and gasket replacement, oil and filter service, power steering fluid flush, and hood release cable replacement. The driveshaft was also addressed with rear U-joint replacement and repair of a broken rear yoke.

Inside, the Oleg Cassini Package gives this Matador a truly unique cabin. The black interior features copper-colored accents, copper carpeting, reclining front seats, copper buttons, Cassini crest embroidery on the front headrests, custom sun visors, and Oleg Cassini markings on the glovebox door. Additional features include air conditioning, cruise control, an AM radio, and courtesy lighting, providing a comfortable and stylish 1970s feel.
