1995 Land Rover Defender

Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is proud to present this 1995 Land Rover Defender Crew Cab, a rugged and refined build finished in a striking black exterior with a warm tan leather interior. With its iconic Defender shape, crew cab configuration, and bold stance, this Land Rover combines classic utility with modern power and a long list of custom upgrades.

This Defender has received a Puma Defender conversion and was fully repainted. All body panels, doors, and the hood were removed and painted. The exterior features paint-matched fender flares, billet door hinges, billet hood hinges, billet door handles, a new front grille, new light bezels, all-new LED headlights and taillights, Masai 4x4 headliner and trim, spray-in bed liner, new front and rear bumpers with a winch, and a Land Rover skid plate.

Under the hood is a 6.2L LT1 V8 engine paired with an 8L90E 8-speed automatic transmission. The build sheet notes a left-hand-drive conversion, a custom Debsch Motors radiator and fans for the LT engine, a new transfer case, new wiring harness, engine CPU, transmission controller, and new exhaust. This drivetrain provides strong modern performance while maintaining the classic Land Rover character.

The Defender rides on Land Rover wheels wrapped in 315/75R16 Toyo Open Country A/T II tires, giving it a tough stance. New suspension and steering stabilizers support the ride and handling, while power steering and power brakes enhance driving comfort both around town and on the open road.

Inside, the tan leather interior offers a refined contrast to the black exterior. The build includes Exmoor Puma Defender seats, a Puma Defender dash replacement with matching Exmoor leather trim, custom leather door panels, new floor carpet, a woodgrain Land Rover steering wheel, a custom center console, Dakota Digital center gauge cluster, and Vintage air conditioning. Power windows add convenience, and the custom stereo system with Focal speakers, a custom amp, and a sub box under the rear seat provide modern sound quality.
