1981 Ferrari 308 GTSi "Rosso Corsa"

The 308 meant a great deal to Ferrari. With this model, the brand made the definitive transition to a new generation of V8 sports cars. After the Bertone-designed 308 GT4, Ferrari returned to Pininfarina, and the result is impressive. The proportions are spot-on, the lines are sleek, and more than fifty years later, the design still looks surprisingly fresh. Many people recognize this model from the famous TV series Magnum P.I., which brought the 308 even greater fame.

Starting in the late 1970s, the GTSi also made its debut. Thanks to Bosch fuel injection, the technology under the hood was revamped, while the removable roof ensured that every drive became just that little bit more special. The transmission shifts smoothly, and the steering feel is fantastic. Driving a 308 is always a pleasure, and this example is a prime illustration of that.
