Zeer zeldzame Delahaye 148L met Henri Chapron carrosserie

Wij bieden te koop aan deze prachtige en zeer zeldzame Delahaye 148L uit 1939. Op 14 februari 1939 werd het chassis met nummer 60819 afgeleverd aan de legendarische carrosseriebouwer Henri Chapron. Daar werd het voorzien van een Cabriolet “Mylord-stijl” carrosserie, genummerd 5975 door Chapron. Het werk was eind maart van dat jaar voltooid en werd afgewerkt volgens de Grand Luxe-specificaties, inclusief op maat gemaakt chroomwerk en luxe interieurafwerkingen.

Tegenwoordig is chassis 60819 een zeldzaam voorbeeld van een kenmerkend Chapron-carrosserie Cabriolet-ontwerp dat sierlijk gebogen pontonvleugels combineert met een uitgesproken lijnen in contrasterende kleur. Het gebruik van chromen accenten is ingetogen en de prachtige en goed uitgebalanceerde verhoudingen waar Henri Chapron beroemd om was, zijn een kenmerk van deze geweldige koetsbouwer uit de gouden eeuw in Frankrijk.

De klassieker wordt aangedreven door de 3.5 liter 6-cilinder motor die gekoppeld is aan een handgeschakelde 4-versnellingsbak.

De Delahaye is in het verleden gerestaureerd en van een nieuw lakwerk voorzien. Het crèmekleurige lakwerk staat prachtig op de klassieker en steekt mooi af tegen het bruine lederen interieur. De Delahaye is uitgerust met een zwarte soft top.

Very rare Delahaye 148L with Henri Chapron coachwork

We offer for sale this beautiful and very rare Delahaye 148L from 1939. On February 14th 1939, chassis number 60819 was delivered to the legendary coachbuilder Henri Chapron. There it was fitted with a Cabriolet “Mylord style” body, numbered 5975 by Chapron. The work was completed at the end of March of that year and was finished to the Grand Luxe specifications, including bespoke chrome work and luxury interior finishes.

Today, chassis 60819 is a rare example of the signature Chapron Cabriolet coachwork design, combining gracefully curved pontoon wings with bold lines in contrasting colour. The use of chrome accents is understated and the beautiful and well-balanced proportions for which Henri Chapron was famous are a hallmark of this great coachbuilder from France's golden age.

The classic is powered by the 3.5 litre 6-cylinder engine, which is coupled to a 4-speed manual gearbox.

The Delahaye has been restored in the past and given a new paint. The cream-coloured paintwork looks great on the classic and contrasts nicely with the brown leather interior. The Delahaye is equipped with a black soft top.
