1996 Porsche 911 / 993 Carrera - Targa

Our Porsche 993 Targa is a very fine French-delivered example, supplied new by the official French Porsche importer, Sonauto, on 17 September 1996. Finished in the superb Aventurine Green Metallic (L39S), it is paired with a Classic Grey leather interior (MX), an elegant combination that perfectly reflects Porsche configurations of the 1990s.

This 993 is now with its fourth owner and benefits from a particularly comprehensive history. Its original service book is accompanied by an extensive file of invoices and technical inspection reports, demonstrating rigorous and regular maintenance throughout its life. The car was mainly serviced within the Porsche network during its early years, before subsequently being entrusted to recognised Porsche specialists.

The bodywork, like the interior, is presented in remarkable condition. The Classic Grey leather upholstery is particularly well preserved, and the overall condition reflects the care given to this 993 over the years.

Mechanically, the car is also in excellent condition and shows no particular sealing or leakage issues. It has recently benefited from significant maintenance and recommissioning work, including the replacement of the shock absorbers as well as a comprehensive mechanical service. The extensive invoice file also documents numerous works carried out in recent years to keep the car in the best possible condition.

It is also fitted with period Porsche Tequipment sports exhaust tips, as well as a Pioneer head unit installed in the 2000s.

As the final evolution of the air-cooled 911, the Porsche 993 holds a special place in the history of the marque. In Targa form, it combines the character of the 993 with its spectacular sliding glass roof, offering an experience halfway between a coupé and a cabriolet.

With fewer than 70,000 kilometres, French provenance, a particularly comprehensive service history and a configuration combining Aventurine Green Metallic with Classic Grey leather, this example brings together qualities that have become increasingly rare on the market.
