The seller offers for sale this 1967 Fiat 1100 R, powered by a 1.1-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, paired with a manual transmission. This example has undergone a complete restoration and presents in good condition, finished in a deep red exterior colour over a tan interior. The cabin retains its period character, with the classic painted dashboard, slim-rimmed steering wheel and comfortable upholstered seating, and the car comes with a valid inspection. Photos of the engine bay and luggage compartment underline the care that has gone into this car.

The Fiat 1100 R was the final evolution of one of Italy’s most beloved family cars. Introduced in 1966, the “R” (for Rinnovata, renewed) brought a cleaner, squarer front end, a floor-mounted gearshift and front disc brakes to the long-running 1100 series, whose roots stretch back to 1953. Powered by the proven 1,089 cc four-cylinder engine, the 1100 R combined honest, dependable engineering with typically Italian charm, and it served countless families, taxi drivers and small businesses across Italy until production ended in 1969, making way for the Fiat 128.

Today the 1100 R occupies a special place among Italian classics. It is simple to maintain, welcome at classic rallies and touring events, and increasingly appreciated as an affordable entry into 1960s Italian motoring. A restored example such as this one offers a very usable classic with genuine period atmosphere, ideal for leisurely drives along the coast or participation in historic vehicle gatherings.
