The seller offers for sale this 1962 Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider, powered by a 1.6-litre four-cylinder twin-cam engine, paired with a manual transmission. This cabriolet has been in the same ownership since May 1996 and has been restored during that custodianship, with the bodywork, engine and interior all having been addressed. The car has always been stored under cover and kept maintained. In 2025 the braking system received a complete overhaul, including replacement of the liners, wheel cylinders and friction material, and according to the seller the car currently requires no work. The inspection is valid until July 2027, so the new owner can enjoy open-top motoring straight away.

Introduced in 1962, the Giulia Spider succeeded the celebrated Giulietta Spider, retaining Pininfarina’s beautifully balanced open two-seater bodywork while gaining the new 1,570 cc version of Alfa Romeo’s famous all-alloy twin-cam four. The larger engine brought noticeably stronger performance and more relaxed cruising, making the Giulia Spider the most usable and mature evolution of this elegant design. Built only until 1965, the Giulia Spider was produced in far smaller numbers than its Giulietta predecessor, adding rarity to its appeal.

With its jewel-like twin-cam engine, precise gearbox and timeless Pininfarina lines, the Giulia Spider embodies everything that makes 1960s Alfa Romeos so beloved among enthusiasts. Long-term ownership, a documented restoration and recent mechanical attention make this example an appealing proposition for the collector seeking a classic Italian roadster experience in one of its purest forms.
