Beschrijving

1929 OM 665 Spyder Mille Miglia,

"Carrozzeria Moderna by Mario Casaro" ORIGINAL. The only OM in the OM register where it is declared to be truly one of the very few ORIGINAL cars in every detail — the body still with its original paint and the interior still with its original materials, with the exception of the convertible top canvas and the seat upholstery, which had to be remade new since the leather was completely torn and beyond recovery. It was discovered in 2016 after a full 60 years of neglect in two garages — the first belonging to a hotel in Milan until 1960, where it was bought at auction, and then moved to the other garage above Lake Como, where it remained dormant until my purchase in 2016. Since then it has already taken part in 7 Mille Miglia, 2 Gran Premio Nuvolari, 2 Giro di Sicilia, in addition to the solo journey — also followed by PIRELLI — from Poggibonsi/ Milan to the North Cape and back in July/ August 2024, covering a full 10, 800 km.

It comes with: photos of its discovery, purchase documents from the auction, original period documents including the Italian registration booklet with pages from the province of Trieste, Free Territory, photos of the restoration, photos of the events and newspaper articles about the trip to the "North Cape," a sworn appraisal by the court-appointed expert (CTU) certifying its value both in the condition it was found and in its current state, as well as its CSAI - ASI - FIVA passport - current CRS - and Mille Miglia Register listing.

AN ABSOLUTELY GUARANTEED ENTRANT FOR THE MM, and above all among the first at the starting line.
