Adolphe Clément was born in the Oise department in 1855.
Very enterprising, he first manufactured bicycles then partnered with Gladiator before founding his own marque in 1903.
The CLEMENT BAYARD marque pays homage to the famous knight "fearless and beyond reproach" and it is this motto that the man and the marque would adopt until 1922.
This CLEMENT BAYARD 4-cylinder is a charming little cabriolet, lightweight, nimble and elegant in very good condition.
Its previous restoration has a few minor cosmetic imperfections due to its age, and it will be easy to enhance to your liking.
This sturdy little cabriolet will be simple to maintain with its wire wheels, all four tyres are new and after a routine service it will be ready to tackle veteran rallies fearless and beyond reproach like its patron knight.
The engine has been started and runs very well.
