1961 Cadillac Coupe De Ville

Cadillac Coupe DeVille 5th Generation:

History

Motors Corner is pleased to present for sale this 1962 Cadillac Coupe DeVille which was purchased new in France, registered for 6 occupants. The mileage history is consistent and coherent with regard to the successive MOT inspections since then. An expert assessment was carried out in 2019, and the original maintenance manual is available.

Mechanical Condition

The engine bay, left in its original state, presents a patina consistent with the vehicle's age, with no signs of leaks. Everything is complete.

The car starts first time and runs very well, nothing to report.

Interior Condition

The cabin is fitted with front and rear bench seats in corded fabric, in a grey-beige shade, with faux leather trim matching the bodywork. The dashboard, characteristic of the early 1960s, retains its ribbon-style speedometer in kilometres. The gear lever is mounted on the column. Everything is in excellent condition, consistent with the vehicle's history.

Exterior Condition

The bodywork is in good overall condition and displays its original patina. The car has remained in a private collection, under cover, which explains the excellent preservation of the paintwork, which is of good quality and generally in fine condition.

It should be noted that there is a mark approximately twenty centimetres long on the right rear overhang.
