1962 Renault Ondine R 1090

Offered for sale by an experienced classic-car collector with over 40 years of experience. I am the second owner of this car.

Renault Ondine R1090, finished in Bronze Ankor, with its original interior.

The car is in excellent mechanical and body condition and is perfectly capable of covering long distances. It has never been welded and the body is free from corrosion. The internal body cavities were treated with Tectyl rust protection in the 1980s.

This Ondine has taken part for many years in various classic-car rallies and events, including the RN7 rallies and the Traversée de Paris, as shown in the last series of photographs.

The car has not been modified or improvised in any way and remains in proper, authentic condition. It is currently registered in Belgium.

For information, the engine was completely rebuilt in the early 2000s, including pistons and cylinder liners. The water tube, starter motor, dynamo, carburettor and distributor were also overhauled or replaced as required.

The front and rear suspension, steering and other mechanical components have also been properly maintained. No immediate mechanical expenditure is required.
