1968 Triumph TR4 IRS TR4A

I'm parting with my Triumph TR4 A IRS from February 1968, one of the last produced.

Purchased in May 2021 from a friend who had owned it for 15 years and hadn't even finished running in the engine, barely 1000km.

- New engine exchange standard unleaded cylinder head (Betaset invoice from 2006) covered a maximum of 6000km.

- New gearbox (Betaset invoice from 2006) 6000km as well.

- Overdrive on 2/ 3/ 4 gears serviced and drained.

- Rear axle and transmission serviced and drained.

- Twin outlet stainless steel exhaust system.

- Interior upholstery renewed 2 years ago.

- Quality fabric hood.

- Original steering wheel available.

- Michelin XZX tyres 5000km.

- Rear suspension conversion with KONI dampers and 4 short springs (originals available).

- Bodywork rust-free (a few paint chips from 20 years ago), chassis straight and rust-free.

Important file of invoices available.

I completed a 5000km road trip in July 2024 with only one issue with the dynamo which was replaced with a new efficient alternator conversion!

The car runs perfectly, brakes well, and is very pleasant to drive.

Registration document in my name. (sale due to health reasons)

Available for £1500 extra, Surrey top (Betaset fibre) rear section in fibre with rear window and interior flocking never fitted in the car's colour.
