Beschrijving

A very very rare factory RIGHT HAND DRIVE 24CT Coupe . These truly fantastic little cars were hugely ahead of the time in 1965 . A very pretty body style that looks out of the 80s , A two cylinder air cooled engine that produces 60 BHP and can propel the light car to speeds in excess of 90 MPH ! as described in an article in Octane magazine in April 2025 . Also comes with 4 speed gearbox, rack and pinion steering , front wheel drive and disc brakes all round ! The recorded mileage is 47500 which could well be correct . MOT record showing 44, 000 in 2006 The car drives perfectly and sounds sweet . Everything works. No signs of rust and has never been welded . It could do with a decent set of carpets.

Very few were sold in England as they were very expensive at £1329 14 shillings and 7 pence .

This is a very well known car in the Panhard club and graced the front and back covers of the recent "Panoramique" magazine .

The car was bought new by Joe Charlesworth the owner of several iron foundaries in Yorkshire. He bought it for his wife, who did not have a driving licence, so was chauffeur driven in full livery. The car was then bought by a former salesman of the company who ran it for several years before selling it to John Bellwood the very knowledgable chairman of the Panhard club . In 2007 it was sold to Frank Fennell in Ireland who sold it to James Cooney in 2020 . I bought it from him and re imported it into the UK
