1955 Riley Rme

A really lovely 1954 Rme not registered until 1955.

Only 2 registered owners, both for many years. The mileage is believed to be genuine.

The car is stunning to look at, finished in cream. Apart from a couple of very small areas which need touching up, the paintwork is superb. There is no visible rust on the car, and the chrome work is also very good. The inside is original and in really lovely condition. Within the last thousand miles over £2, 000 has been spent on parts, mostly just because of the age of the parts, and a full set of new period style cross ply tyres.

The wood parts of the framework on the car are all excellent and appear to have been renewed.

The engine runs very smoothly and the car drives just as it would have done when new.

It is a really gorgeous looking car, and constantly receives comments wherever it goes. It is mot and tax exempt and insurance is less than £100 per year. The car was put through an mot a couple of years ago simply for peace of mind and passed without advisories.
