1986 Porsche 911 Cabriolet

This Swiss family-owned vehicle with the unthrottled 231 hp engine version in the color Grand Prix White with its complete history and the very low mileage of only 24,600 km, presents itself at first paint level and has all the attributes of a specimen that deserves the rating “Particularly Valuable”. This is number 2,068 of 2,358 original 911 3.2 Cabriolets built in 1986. And probably the only known example in this condition.

Vehicle history:

The first delivery took place on April 1, 1987 by Cigolla GmbH in Waldshut-Tiengen to the first owner. This is also the only registered owner so far in the vehicle registration document.

The vehicle has been professionally maintained throughout. Mileage documented by service receipts and emissions booklet. Birth certificate and delivery receipt confirm “matching numbers” and the original factory condition.

Vehicle condition and assessment (according to the knowledge of the previous owner and external assessment):

Body

The body is in unrestored standard condition all around. The body is well protected against rust in all respects. The vehicle was stored dry. The gap dimensions are even all around. Doors and hoods close perfectly. There are no falling errors or protrusions. As far as can be seen, the underbody is free of damage or wear. The entire area around the engine and transmission is almost completely dry.

As far as we know, the vehicle is accident-free. According to the previous owner, no body repairs were carried out, apart from a small spot on the rear left fender/side panel (Smart Repair).

Exterior paintwork

According to the paint thickness measurement and general definition in the measured areas, the paintwork is probably still at factory level. The paintwork is very well maintained and has no visible damage or anything similar.

Add-on parts

All add-on parts of the vehicle are complete. They are visually in almost new condition all around.

Glazing

The vehicle's glazing is almost completely free of stone chips and scratches.

Interior

seats and panels

The entire seating system and the side panels as well as the center console are in almost unused condition. Damage is not visible.

Instruments

The vehicle has the standard instruments, all of which are in technically and visually perfect condition. All instruments work properly. There is almost no wear and tear on the entire interior of the vehicle, including the convertible top.

Aggregates Engine

According to Porsche's birth certificate, it can be assumed that the engine and transmission are the original aggregates of the vehicle. No revisions have been necessary so far, but all necessary maintenance measures have been carried out so that the engine functions perfectly in all temperature, speed and load ranges. There are no suspicious noises or smoke development.

Additional aggregates

All additional units such as the injection system, ignition system, starter, alternator, etc. are technically in perfect condition.

Drive

The vehicle's transmission can be shifted perfectly under all load conditions and there are no suspicious noises. The transmission worked perfectly when checked.

Chassis and brake system

As far as can be seen, all four brake discs are in almost new condition. All maintenance work has been carried out on the brake system and chassis so that the vehicle functions perfectly in all driving conditions.

Wheels and tires

The wear is even across the entire tire width, which is an unmistakable indication that the chassis is properly adjusted and works accordingly. The tires are mounted on the original Porsche rims.

Electrics and lighting

The entire electrical system is in delivery condition. No changes have been made here, but all care and maintenance measures have been carried out so that the entire electrical system functions properly in all areas.
