Sometimes a car comes in where the story is actually quite simple. This is one of those cars.

This 1960 Volkswagen Beetle Ragtop arrived at our place just before our holiday as a trade-in. We have deliberately not spent any additional time or money on it yet, so for the time being we are offering the car exactly as it is.

No complicated story — just a cool, solid and drivable early Beetle with the right looks, ready to be enjoyed.

The car is a factory-original Ragtop, making it a particularly desirable early Beetle for enthusiasts. It has been lowered all around, giving it a great stance while retaining its unmistakable early Beetle character.

Mechanically, the car is drivable and fitted with a rebuilt engine. The body is solid, although it does show the usual signs of age, including various cosmetic imperfections and user marks.

Accessoires wisely: plenty! Safari front window, fender pole’s, km counter etc etc

There are also some areas where previous welding work could have been carried out more correctly, and the headliner is currently not fitted.

We prefer to mention these things up front. This is not a concours restoration, nor are we pretending it is. But honestly, none of these things should stop you from having a lot of fun with this car.

Because underneath it all, this is simply a hard, drivable 1960 Ragtop with the right stance, the right looks and a rebuilt engine.

And since we are currently on holiday and are not putting any additional time or money into the car, we are open to making a quick deal at the following prices:
