1964 JAGUAR Type E Cabriolet

For sale: this magnificent 1964 JAGUAR E-TYPE Series 1 Cabriolet 3. 8L

This car is in EXCELLENT overall condition, runs perfectly and is driven regularly.

The car has a fully documented history and was featured on the cover (+ an article) of the “Rétro Passion” magazine in February 2004.

It has had regular servicing since the purchase by the previous owner at “Classic Car” Center in the late 90s (file available with lots of invoices: servicing, purchase of parts from Barrat, MOT/ technical inspections).

It has recently undergone a superb restoration at the PMTL PC workshop in l’Isle Jourdain (specialist coachbuilder for Jaguar E-Types).

Here’s an overview of the work carried out:

- Full bodywork overhaul

- New paintwork (original colour)

- Perfect door alignment

- Rebuilt ignition

- All oil changes (gearbox, engine, differential, etc.)

- Completely reconditioned and rebuilt braking system, fitted with 4-piston callipers

- New radiator fitted with an electric fan (new generation)

- New expansion tank

- Change of heater radiator in the cabin + rigid stainless pipework.

Normal French registration (Carte Grise) in place.

Original specification with its MOSS gearbox.
