1967 Fiat 850 Coupe

This car is a two owner from new, with verified 105. 000km on the clock.

Bought new in Portugal, where it remains, by a lady owner who drove it for just 40. 000km until 1991, the year my father bought it.

That year, the body undergone a restoration process, which made it totally rust proof. The body is in excelent condition and the paint is great, except for a minor scratch on a back panel.

The interior was reupholstered respecting the original specification, but both carpets and roof lining are original.

It has all the original chromework in excellent condition. It also has the original catalogue and the original owner's registration papers.

This car has been cherished by our family for 35 years. Half of those years my father was its custodian, and I've kept it and maintained it since he passed away.

With two kids, I just don't use it anymore, and I'd rather know someone is enjoying it, instead of keeping closed and covered. It is still driver regularly just to keep it in shape, and kept in a dry garage.

The car runs beautifully, always starts easily and is very easy to use. Sounds great and it's very nippy, accelerating faster than you'd expect.

It has a very light steering and brakes very effectively for a car of that period, thanks to the disc brakes. Its tyres are in great shape.

The Coupé was the original factory rebodied derivative of the the Fiat 850, elegantly penned by the famous Mario Felice Boano, and featuring all the upgrades from the 850 Special. The following Sport Coupé had a sportier but less clean design.

This is a seriously reluctant sale, but I'm ready to pass it on.
