1968 Alfa Romeo Giulia Type 105

Classic Alfa Guilia 105 Saloon, extremely quick car which can continue to be used for historic motorsport or alternatively for fast road use, fully road legal, tax and Mot exempt, two sets of alloy wheels and tyres, some spare parts, huge history file detailing its restoration and preparation for racing in historic race series.

Current owner has competed in it since 2017, initially in hillclimb ad sprint events and since 2019 in historic circuit racing events with Historic Racing Drivers Club and other historic motorsport organisations.

It has proven completely reliable with every race finished. HSCC Historic Touring Cars identity form compliant for class B, HRDC Corsa & Nord class plus would be welcomed in other historic series.

Only being sold due to owners retirement from motorsport, last raced at Silverstone in October 2024 and has been used occasionally on the road since in order to keep exercised. It offers enormous fun to drive either on track or on the road.

Bob Dove (the race Alfa guru) built 2. 0ltr engine with twin 45 DCOE Weber carburrettors, rebuilt gearbox, rebuilt rear axle and differential with limited slip, heavy duty torsion bar, adjustable from suspension, adjustable performance shock absorbers, uprated larger from disc brakes, racing Ferodo brake pads all round, alloy wheels and Toyo R888R semi slick tyres (road legal), plumbed in OMP fire extinguisher system, full road cage, 6 point harness, Cobra race seat, rev limiter and full assortment of gauges, bodywork extensively lightened with drilled doors, fibreglass bonnet and fully removable fibreglass boot lid, whole car weighs 900kg.

This car was sourced from the dry climate of Cyprus and imported into UK in 2014.
