1968 MG MGC

RARE RICHARD LONGMAN MGC. IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

Opportunity to own this superb older restoration MGC roadster fitted with a Richard Longman prepared engine unit.

Engine unit was completely rebuilt from bottom up . Omega pistons. Kent Cam. Head polished and gas flowed by Richard Longman. Bronze valve guides. Stronger valve springs, flowed triple inlets by Richard Longman. Flowed exhaust manifold, stainless steel twin exhaust system. Stainless steel fuel tank etc., etc.

Fitted with overdrive on third and fourth gears.

Interior in top condition with mohair hood and new hood frame.

Tonneau cover. Boot rack. All chrome in first class condition.

20/ 08/ 26. N. B. I have been asked about an MOT fail in May'21 stating 'vehicle structure fault. This was in fact slight rust around the drain hole at the front of the drivers side castle section and should not have been a fail. However the front section of the castle was replaced ( without damage to the paintwork I might add). Full MOT will be issued on date of salle. The car has only done a few hundred miles since 2021.

Would consider 40's to 60's saloon car in good condition or indeed similar classic motorbike.
