1964 Jaguar Mark 2 2.4

I am advertising this lovely classic Jaguar for a long standing friend of mine who is now in his 80s, retired and is pretty much on the verge of giving up driving, he would now like the car to go to another enthusiast who can give it the care and use it deserves.

This UK RHD example really has had a considerable amount of time and money spent on it, and now is a very presentable, very nice driving example of the classic Mk2 sports saloon.

In 2020 it had a total strip down and was subject to a costly restoration through out.

There are approximately 150 pictures of all the hard work that was put into the restoration, along with a huge folder full of all the invoices for what was spent on it to bring it up to the condition it is in now. I will mention some of the things that were addressed, this is just a brief list including a full body strip down to bare metal, with new metal panels replacing original rusty ones, along with a complete respray in its original Pearl grey, all of the braking system was renewed, complete wiring harnesses replaced, engine was fully rebuilt, full front and rear suspension rebuild, new fuel system, all internal polish wood re finished, new head lining, new carpets, all new rubber seals, the list goes on.

If you want to be pi ky the paint on the bonnet and doors looks a bit thin from polishing, but only noticeable up close.

The car has covered approximately 600 miles since it was completed.

It is dry stored in a garage when not being used.

Heritage certificate also present showing its a matching number car still retaining its original numbers and colour.

There is also a Jaguar enthusiasts club agreed valuation certificate from 2023 stating that its value was about £29000.
