1969 Jaguar E Type Series 2 4. 2 litre, fully restored 2014-2016, the vehicle is complete with matching engine, gearbox, differential and chassis.

This is a remarkable example of a show winning (Best Car at Chiltern Hills 2024) E Type Jaguar Series 2 for sale.

For many E Type enthusiast the Series 2 2+2 was the sweet spot with the models lengthy evolution allowing for the taller driver complete with its more powerful reliable 4. 2 engine.

## You will not find such a great overall condition car, solid bodywork, paintwork, chrome and great mechanicals at such a competitive price, only selling to reduce my collection!

This vehicle has a total of six registered owners, but in reality only 3 of which have driven the vehicle on the open road.

In 2014-2016 the vehicle was subject to a thorough restoration after being parked up for nearly 40 years to sort out the seized engine, by removing it, rebuilding and replacing as necessary pistons and rings, con rods, cylinder head etc. Front Seats were reupholstered in black leather. The car also received a fresh coating of it original paint in Signal Red.

The cars low mileage appears to be genuine from previous old MOT's, the car has only covered circa 5, 500 miles since the restoration, hence still in superb condition with bright chrome work.

During my 8 years of ownership I have had the following works undertaken, most to enhance reliability and ensure safety:-

New master and brake servo, electronic ignition, high torque starter motor and water pump.

There is very minor paint blister on the bonnet due to a reaction with the primer (see photos each side of bonnet bulge, but very, very hard to notice) it has been stable and like it since I purchased the vehicle.

The car starts first time, it is a dream to drive and easily cruises and keeps up with modern day traffic.

The car is registered as Historic and is MOT, Car Tax and ULEZ Exempt.
